Andrea Gauthier is a biomedical and scientific artist living near Toronto, Ontario, CA. She is dedicated to creating didactic visualizations to aid in scientific and medical education and communication.

In 2008, Andrea graduated with high honours from Sheridan Institute of Design and Technology with a Bachelor of Applied Art in Scientific and Technical Illustration. In 2012, she completed a Master's of Science in Biomedical Communications at the University of Toronto at Mississauga. She is currently working at Bridgeable, a reserach and design firm in Toronto, as well as at the University of Toronto inMississauga developing and researching games for educational purposes. Andrea will be beginning a PhD in Medical Sciences a the University of Toronto in Fall 2013.
